The U.I.A. (Universal Intelligence Agency)
Indicator: Universal Intelligence
Found this article delightfully clear, with alignment with Tao thinking. I find these sites as I think about life and its deeper meanings, bit of a philosopher. Exploring more of the site found it was politically activist, seeking forms of communal democracy. If it is going to work, these are the sort of people who are going to do it! But the 'if' lingers in my mind. Their influence will be good and the Denmark example is encouraging. Lots of good practice arise in that part of our planet. However, on the down side, greed and selfishness will always walk alongside generosity and whole-thinking. I see the pursuit of the ideal as a constant dynamic struggle within the great dialectic of life. (word for the day!). No reason to not 'ave a go', but don't grind your spirit to a pulp against the realities. Good on 'em anyway, they are giving it a good try. Good to support if it's for you.
Anyway, back to Universal Intelligence! It does make a difference to how one lives day to day to think on such things. Although a big believer in the past, I don't believe in "God" in the accepted sense of the label now. A bit too like an extended wish-fulfillment Father Christmas, very patriarchal. Still, for me life is truly a deep and mystical thing with an eternal transcendent aspect. Transcendent means to me, unable to be expressed in a time and space kind of way. And that transcendent aspect, its essence, is at the core of all, including you and I. Zen has the gist of it, but a little too introspective, passive. Zen is Taoism dressed up in Buddhist clothes. (Great book on that is "The Tao of Zen" by Ray Grigg)
The active contributive aspect is more included in Taoist thinking. But it is a "non-doing doing". (One is so intuitively involved with the action one doesn't seem to be doing very much at all, as the event flows.)
The article I referred you to brings this out well. We participate in a kind of Co-intelligence. The Whole is dependent on the Part, and vice versa.
This is the "illusion" all the great mystics talk about. We think its all hard edged "reality", but the Real has no finalized hard edges at all! There are some understandable sites that show this also in quantum science findings. We'll come across them in future.
